In the Financial Times' Global Executive MBA (EMBA) ranking published in October 2016, NTU's Nanyang Business School's EMBA was ranked 18th position in the world and 6th position in Asia.

In the Financial Times’ (FT) Global MBA Ranking 2017 published in January 2017, NTU’s Nanyang Business School’s MBA was in joint 24th position with Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, up from 29th last year. For the Asia-Pacific alone, NTU’s Nanyang MBA rank moved up three places to 3rd position. The average weighted annual salary three years after graduation is US$126,000, up from US$119,000 in the previous year. In terms of offering good value for money, NTU’s Nanyang MBA came in 26th from 38th position globally.

In the 7th QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2017 Top 50 Under 50 ranking published in July 2017, NTU continued to be ranked 1st position for fourth consecutive year among the world’s young (under 50 years) university

In the 14th QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2017 published in June 2017, NTU moved up two places to be ranked 11th position in the world and 1st position in Asia. NTU made improvements across four of the six metrics that QS uses to rank universities and made the biggest gains in employer reputation and citations per faculty. For normalized Citations per Faculty, NTU ranked 1st position in Singapore

In the 5th THE Asian University Rankings (AUR) released in March 2017, NTU ranked 4th position in Asia. The 4th position was higher than the 7th position in THE WUR 2016 Asia order rank, which was released in September 2016. NTU research citations per paper indicator rank continued to be the leader in Singapore since 2014.
