We are pleased to announce that Memoire D’ Angkor, one of Willie Wong Group’s flagship investments in the hospitality and tourism sector, has achieved a new milestone with the opening of the Anuza Art Gallery.

Opened in December 2011 in the heart of Siem Reap’s prime business and tourists area, Memoire D’ Angkor has quickly established itself as a “landmark boutique hotel with its unique facilities that carry a rich local cultural, art and heritage theme and flavor.

Strongly rooted in sustainable tourism, the hotel has always committed to designing and ensuring their operational processes support the environment, as well as ethical causes such as education.

The hotel is proud to be supporting yet another important tenet, that is art and culture. The recently opened Anuza Gallery has emerged as the only gallery for artwork from the top 5 renowned Cambodian artists. It boasts one of the finest collections and display of a wide selection of designer quality local fine arts, handicrafts, special handmade silk and local products. These goods have been specially commissioned for Memoire D’ Angkor and proceeds do support the bustling art and heritage scene in Cambodia. The gallery also showcases works of Theam, a Cambodian artisan who is helping to revive the Khmer craft sector, amongst several other Cambodian craftsman.

The gallery has opened its doors to the public since October 2013, and the hotel will continue to contribute to developing Cambodia’s art and heritage scene is a sustainable manner.
